Overview

Under the guidance of the Executive Director of Real Estate and Development, the Real Estate Asset Manager is tasked with creating, refining, and executing a strategic asset management strategy for the real estate holdings of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. This position functions as the owner representative throughout all phases of real estate operations, from initial planning to ongoing management, ensuring that assets align with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • BA degree in finance, business administration, or a comparable discipline is mandatory.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years or more of combined experience in asset management, property development and administration, lending, or real estate development is strongly desired.
  • In-depth experience in analyzing real estate development pro-formas, as well as preparing and reviewing property operational budgets.
  • Strong technical skills and the capability to collaborate effectively with a range of individuals and organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise the financial performance of designated properties by examining operational statements, budgets, audits, and projections. Generate financial analyses and reports concerning reserves, cash flow, and key performance metrics.
  • Deliver comprehensive portfolio oversight, including reviewing maintenance schedules, coordinating physical condition evaluations, creating capital replacement plans, and performing yearly property inspections.
  • Assist in new development, recapitalization, and acquisition efforts by acting as a bridge between Finance, Legal, and Real Estate Development departments.
  • Handle yearly insurance renewals for properties and corporate entities, and serve as a contact for property-related insurance claims.
  • Engage in company-wide risk management activities and act as the main point of contact for property management agreements.
