Overview

This role involves supporting the Legal Department at Golden State Foods by delivering high-quality legal services, managing contracts, and ensuring operational excellence. The position oversees the complete contract lifecycle, drafts and evaluates commercial agreements, maintains corporate records, and implements process enhancements. The ideal candidate should have between four and six years of prior experience in contracts, transactional work, and in-house practice.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree.
• A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal education program.
• A minimum of four to six years of prior contracts, transactional, and in-house experience.
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing various types of contracts; experience in the food or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge and practical application of compliance and regulatory standards.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and communicative skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Must be a notary public or have the ability to become one.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to address matters outside one's area of expertise.
