Aerospace Machine Shop - Machinist

This is a full-time position only. We are looking to hire immediately.

Overview

A machine shop specializing in aerospace components is seeking qualified machinists for the day shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). This role involves primarily operating Mazak CNCs, utilizing machines equipped with SmoothX, Matrix, and Fusion controls. Responsibilities include making offset adjustments and performing in-process part inspections. We offer medical benefits and paid vacation. Overtime is available but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Experience operating Mazak CNC machines (SmoothX, Matrix, and/or Fusion controls).
• Ability to adjust offsets and inspect in-process parts using gages and micrometers.
• Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid work permit.
• Physical requirements: Ability to walk, perform light lifting, climb step stools and ladders for larger fixtures. The role involves sitting, standing, stooping, and reaching.
