Pay Rate: $45.00 - $60.00 Per Hour
Shift: First Shift (5:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled NC Programmer to design and manage complete manufacturing processes for aerospace and defense initiatives. This advanced programming role focuses on large, intricate components utilizing multi-axis CNC gantry machinery (3, 4, 5, and 6-axis).

This position goes beyond standard programming duties. You will develop manufacturing processes from inception, including fixture design, CAM programming, and process refinement. The parts produced support essential systems related to national security, demanding exceptional precision and unwavering quality.

Compensation and Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive manufacturing processes for mechanical components and large-scale CNC gantry equipment.
• Create and optimize programs for 3, 4, 5, and 6-axis CNC machines.
• Utilize Vericut to simulate, verify, and enhance toolpaths (mandatory).
• Design fixtures, workstations, and manufacturing tooling using CAD software.
• Assess engineering drawings and CAD models for manufacturability.
• Support the quoting process and provide technical insights for manufacturing methods.
• Resolve dimensional, tooling, and process issues on the production floor.
• Promote continuous improvement in efficiency and production workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 to 6 years of CNC or NC programming experience within aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
• Mandatory: Demonstrated experience with Vericut for simulation and validation.
• Strong proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam and CATIA are required).
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks is required).
• Experience programming multi-axis CNC machines (gantry experience is highly desirable).
• Aerospace industry background (such as Boeing or similar) is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent mathematical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, supplemented by technical training.
