Compensation: 17.00 to 21.00 dollars per hour based on experience.

Employment Type: Full-time, independent contractor basis.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM, 8-hour shifts.

Location: Bell Gardens, California.

Overview

We operate a small, family-run CNC turning and milling facility that manufactures precision components for the aerospace and industrial sectors. We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to fill an entry-level role involving various hands-on duties, with potential for long-term career growth.

Requirements

• Entry-level to one year of machine shop experience is a plus.
• Openness to learning, following directions, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Prior experience is not mandatory; we will provide training for the right candidate.

Key Duties (Machine Operator Focus)

• Run and oversee CNC mills and Swiss-style lathes (instruction provided).
• Deburr, polish, clean, and blow off machined components (instruction provided).
• Conduct in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges (instruction provided).
• Interpret and follow blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Package and label parts correctly (instruction provided).
• Keep machinery clean and perform basic preventive upkeep.
• Monitor production and support the achievement of daily output objectives.

Extra Tasks (Shop Helper Support)

• Restock and organize boxes, materials, and shelving units.
• File job-related paperwork and arrange production documents.
• Sweep, mop, and uphold overall shop cleanliness.
• Assist machinists and production team members as needed.
• Support shipping, receiving, and other general shop activities.

Work Schedule and Environment

• Monday to Friday, 7 AM start time, 8-hour shifts.
• No weekend work is required; occasional overtime may be offered.
• On-site position in Bell Gardens, California.
• Collaborative and team-focused atmosphere within a tidy, well-organized space.
