CNC Machinist - Night Shift
Rantec Microwave Systems is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team on the Night Shift.
Overview
This role involves independently setting up and operating CNC machines while maintaining precise tolerances. After an initial training period, the selected candidate will transition to the night shift. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience operating Haas machines is required.
- Proficiency in shop mathematics and inspection techniques.
- Must supply own tools.
- 7 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate FADAL and HAAS CNC 3-axis machines with minimal oversight.
- Conduct self-inspections on machined parts.
- Work to tight tolerances (under .001).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Work Schedule
This position will work the day shift for 5 to 10 weeks, then permanently move to the night shift.
- Day Shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm – 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday.
- Night Shift: 3:00 pm to 1:30 am – 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday.
