Grinder Operator

Pay: $22 to $28 per hour
Overview
This is a full-time, second shift opportunity for a skilled Grinder Operator. The position involves setting up and operating cylindrical and centerless grinders for aerospace components, requiring exacting work and the capacity to remain standing for extended durations. The hourly wage ranges from $22 to $28.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of hands-on experience with centerless and cylindrical grinders.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating multiple cylindrical parts.
- Familiarity with grinding wheels and wheel dressing procedures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and conduct precise measurements for aerospace parts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and expertise in shop math, including decimals to 0.0001 inches.
- Must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible in handling shifting priorities.
- Prior exposure to an industrial setting is needed.
- Experience working with metals is beneficial.
- Must be capable of standing and walking for long periods and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or hold refugee/asylee status to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Schedule and Notes
- This role is exclusively for the second shift.
- Work schedule runs from Monday through Saturday.
- Occasional overtime may be necessary.
- This is not a remote or local-only position; candidates must be able to work onsite in East Rancho Dominguez, California.
