Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Get surfaces ready using sandblasting, grinding, degreasing, or wire brushing to ensure paint adheres properly.
- Coating Application: Use industrial spray equipment, brushes, and rollers to apply epoxies, urethanes, and other high-performance coatings.
- Safety Compliance: Keep a clean and safe work area, and properly use respirators and protective gear.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray booths and equipment regularly.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: At least 3 to 5 years in industrial painting.
- Technical Knowledge: Skilled with industrial coating materials such as epoxy, polyurethane, and anti-corrosive paint.
- Equipment Proficiency: Expert ability to use sandblasters, spray pots, and airless spray machines.
- Safety Training: Solid understanding of safety practices for hazardous coatings and confined spaces.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in diverse and challenging conditions.
