Overview

Become a part of the precision machining team at Wiggins Lift Co., a frontrunner in creative material-handling solutions. We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with at least 5 years of expertise to set up, program, and run Haas ST-series CNC lathes, producing components that adhere to exacting tolerances and superior quality benchmarks.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical CNC lathe machining experience.
• Expertise with Haas controls and the ability to modify G and M codes.
• Deep knowledge of tooling, feed rates, and cutting speeds for diverse materials.
• Capability to read and understand blueprints, engineering schematics, and work directions.
• Ability to independently resolve machining and setup challenges.
• Dedication to workplace safety, precision, and ongoing enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate Haas ST-series CNC lathes.
• Perform offset adjustments, tool swaps, and ensure parts meet stringent tolerance requirements.
• Examine finished parts using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Keep machinery in optimal condition and maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to facilitate efficient operations.
