Overview

DreamFields, the company behind the leading number one pre-roll brand Jeeter, is looking for an Automation Maintenance Technician. This position involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing automated machinery and production systems to ensure peak performance, quality, and safety within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role supports ongoing production through regular maintenance, diagnostic work, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Vocational or trade school training, or an associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting with direct automation hands-on experience is required.
• Solid practical experience with:
  • PLC troubleshooting (programming skills are a plus)
  • HMIs and industrial control networks
  • Motor controls including VFDs, drives, and starters
• Thorough understanding of automation systems, process control, instrumentation, and servo-driven systems using ladder logic.
• Proficiency in calibrating, diagnosing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to prioritize and independently schedule maintenance tasks around production workflows.
• Familiarity with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety procedures.
• Strong mechanical skills and comfort using hand and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and keen attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and remain in constant motion throughout the shift.
• Comfortable operating in warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures, humidity, noise, dust, heat, and cold.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
