Quality Assurance Technician

Overview

IntriPlex Technologies, Inc., a company specializing in metal stamping and the supply of precision components, is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician. This position involves the inspection of precision parts for dimensional accuracy, visual quality, and material characteristics using sophisticated tools. Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality inspection.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, gauges, and similar instruments.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and their associated software.
  • Strong skills in both verbal and written communication.
  • Competence in basic arithmetic and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation abilities.
  • Skill in managing and prioritizing a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds and remain seated or standing for long durations.
  • Experience with Nikon or Keyence machines, profilometers, or InfinityQS SPC software is considered an advantage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, compose, and troubleshoot CMM part programs.
  • Execute and assist with CMM program inspections.
  • Conduct In-Process and Final inspections, which include dimensional checks and visual evaluations.
  • Carry out incoming inspections for components and raw materials.
  • Configure data transfer from gauges into the InfinityQS database.
  • Compile inspection data and aid in producing inspection documents.
  • Record non-conforming materials and generate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR).
  • Take part in root cause investigations and the Material Review Board (MRB).
  • Perform SEM/EDS analyses following training.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to established standards and regulations.
