SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Cloacina, LLC provides integrated MBR solutions for municipal, developer, and industrial wastewater markets. We combine specialized knowledge, necessary resources, standardized approaches, and a dedication to wastewater treatment to guarantee the successful completion of projects. Utilizing a customized site construction management method and Cloacina’s proven MEMPAC-M technology, we execute projects for new treatment infrastructure development.

Overview

Cloacina is looking for a Senior Project Manager to coordinate both internal and external resources to meet contractual project obligations. The preferred applicant will oversee all project management duties, including project setup, fabrication resource allocation, construction oversight, jobsite safety, and complete project execution according to plans, specifications, budget, and timeline. Typical project values range from $2,000,000 to $10,000,000 or more. Travel is necessary on an as-required basis to support project outputs and contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the water or wastewater sectors.
  • Ability to manage several small to medium-sized projects at the same time.
  • Solid understanding of project budgets, scheduling, and cost tracking.
  • Experience handling vendors and subcontractor relationships.
  • Competence in generating and monitoring RFIs, POs, and subcontracts.
  • Accountability for project safety procedures and JSA creation.
  • Skill in leading job site meetings and serving as the main client contact.
  • Experience with project completion, punch lists, and record keeping.

Required Documentation

  1. Project budgets and phase codes for cost tracking.
  2. Schedule of values and matching AIA billing forms.
  3. RFI logs and project communications.
  4. Monthly cost estimates and subcontractor payment calculations.
  5. Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) reports.
  6. Project closeout records and startup schedules.

Notice of Work Environment and Occupational Hazards

The wastewater industry involves potential hazards due to exposure to biological and chemical risks, as well as physical dangers. These include, but are not limited to, confined spaces, slips, falls, wet or humid conditions, high or low elevations, moving machinery, elevated or unstable locations, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather, extreme cold, extreme heat, electrical shock risk, vibration, sewage, epoxy coatings, solvents, and high noise levels. Employees may encounter wastewater containing human waste. Wastewater can carry various bacteria, viruses, and parasites that may cause illness in humans and animals. Workers may be exposed through contact with wastewater, aerosols containing pathogens, or contaminated tools. Wastewater treatment procedures also involve numerous chemicals, some of which may be toxic or corrosive. It is essential that employees wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines. Although not mandatory, it is strongly advised that employees keep vaccinations up to date, including those for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, and Diphtheria.
