Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hand Solder Technician to join our manufacturing team. This full-time, onsite role involves performing precise manual soldering and rework on electronic assemblies, ensuring high-quality standards. The position offers a competitive pay range of $22-$28 per hour (based on experience) along with comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic understanding of soldering techniques and electronic assembly processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Must be able to use small mechanical tools such as torques, calipers, pliers, and similar items.
• Working knowledge of assembly drawings, microscopic assembly, and soldering.
• Experience hand soldering thru-hole assemblies per IPC 610 / 620.
• Must pass a solder ability test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous soldering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
• Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards.
