Overview

We are looking for a Community Connector who currently holds authentic, active relationships within specific communities. This position is not a general outreach role. We require someone who already enjoys warm access and comprehends how information circulates within these networks.

Requirements

• Established, genuine connections within one or more of these groups: labor-adjacent circles, waterfront or port communities, retiree networks, or New York public employee / NYSHIP-connected communities.
• A preferred background includes:
  • Existing connections in union-adjacent or waterfront communities.
  • Familiarity with ILWU/ILA-adjacent environments, labor-family networks, or retiree circles.
  • Familiarity with New York public employee, benefits-adjacent, or NYSHIP-connected communities.
  • Experience in community outreach, grassroots organizing, member engagement, or trusted referral work.

Required Documentation
