Overview

Coalition Technologies is looking for a skilled Web Designer to become part of our entirely remote team. This position provides a competitive profit-sharing bonus plan, extensive benefits, and the chance to work on a variety of client assignments. The role requires availability from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS and their relevance to web development constraints (preferred).
• A strong enthusiasm for design along with a solid grasp of core concepts and fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility standards.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with design trends.
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating experience in designing websites (e-commerce is a plus) and web application dashboards (preferred).
• Familiarity with project management tools like Basecamp and Google Docs (preferred).
• Experience in presenting materials to clients in a professional manner.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• A dependable workstation equipped with a fast computer, microphone, speakers, and stable internet and power connections.

Your Duties and Tasks

• Creating custom logos, brand guides, and design systems from the ground up for individual clients.
• Developing wireframes, website mockups, and related graphics for both desktop and mobile platforms based on creative briefs.
• Drawing vector icons and other graphic illustrations.
• Participating in client meetings and working with Digital Producers to outline project objectives.
• Coordinating with copywriters, SEO specialists, developers, and other teams to define the project vision.
• Preparing design files for seamless transfer to developers.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time while adhering to company procedures and quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

For team members located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this role ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, skills test results, geographic location, and tenure. Compensation outside these states may fall outside the stated ranges.
