Overview

Coalition Technologies is looking for a skilled Web Designer to join our fully remote team. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and a unique profit-sharing bonus plan, distributing up to 50% of company profits to employees each month. You will be tasked with developing client-specific designs, logos, and website mockups while working alongside cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS basics (preferred).
• A strong passion for design with a firm grasp of core principles and fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility standards.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with industry developments.
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating website design expertise (e-commerce experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Basecamp and Google Docs (preferred).
• Professional experience presenting materials to clients.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• A reliable workstation equipped with a fast computer, microphone and speakers, as well as stable internet and power supply.

Your Duties and Tasks

• Designing original logos, brand guidelines, and design systems from scratch.
• Developing wireframes and website mockups for both desktop and mobile based on creative briefs.
• Creating vector icons and illustrations.
• Participating in client meetings and collaborating with Digital Producers to outline project objectives.
• Working with copywriters, SEO specialists, and developers to define the project vision.
• Preparing design assets for seamless handoff to the development team.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time while adhering to quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

For team members based in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, skills test results, geographic location, and seniority. Pay for team members outside these states may fall outside the listed ranges.
