Overview

Studio ArtHaus, a creative art studio, is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Art Instructor to work primarily with older children and teenagers. This role involves guiding students through fine art, illustration, and portfolio-focused projects within a supportive, community-oriented atmosphere. Compensation begins at $20.00 to $25.00 per hour following a paid training period.

Requirements

• At least one to two years of experience working with children (including teaching, tutoring, camps, or after-school programs).
• A Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or equivalent educational background.
• Strong drawing and/or painting abilities; comfortable demonstrating techniques step by step.
• Proficiency in both realistic and imaginative drawing and painting.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service expertise.
• Ability to manage a classroom with patience, positivity, and appropriate boundaries.
• Willingness to learn and apply our teaching methodology and curriculum.
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, and dependability.
• Must be able to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to commit to at least one year if there is a good mutual fit.

Required Documentation

3. Seven to ten samples of your most recent artwork (a link to an online portfolio or Instagram account is acceptable), demonstrating your drawing and painting skills.
