Family Home Provider for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

Location: Tehachapi area, Kern County, CA

Overview

Become a Family Home Provider by offering a home and care for adults with developmental disabilities in your own residence. You can earn a tax-free monthly stipend of $3,200 to $5,800 or more per individual, with the opportunity to serve up to two individuals.

Requirements

• One to two spare bedrooms in a safe and pleasant home.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• A designated backup Family Home Provider.
• All adult household members and frequent visitors must have a clear criminal history and a DMV record without major violations.
• A genuine desire to help others and alignment with our mission and values.

Experience in caregiving, social services, or healthcare is beneficial but not required; we provide free training.
