Overview
Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, the Registered Nurse will deliver culturally sensitive medical services with an emphasis on the LGBT community at APLA Health. This primarily clinical role involves managing patient treatment, coordinating care, and supporting the clinic's transition to a patient-centered medical home (PCMH). The compensation is competitive, ranging from $44.64 to $58.15 per hour based on experience, and is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- A current California Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- Up-to-date Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Clinical experience as a registered nurse in an ambulatory healthcare setting, ideally within a federally qualified health center (FQHC).
- Familiarity with electronic health records, with Eclinical works being preferred.
- Capacity to deliver services without bias and to collaborate effectively with varied populations.
- Must hold a valid California driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance, and have access to a personal vehicle for job-related travel.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster, or an approved medical or religious exemption.
