Overview
Working under the supervision of the Chief Behavioral Health Officer, this position delivers support services to Behavioral Health clients at APLA Health and Wellness. The role is centered on providing services, advocacy, and education, specifically addressing the needs of low-income LGBT adults, including individuals living with HIV or AIDS. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly wage of $26.37 to $29.68, based on experience, within a healthcare environment driven by mission-focused goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory. A bachelor's degree in psychology or social work is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a medical, behavioral health, college, university, or similar setting.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with LGBTQ and HIV behavioral health concerns.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team atmosphere.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of diligence with the ability to promptly respond to emails, phone calls, and messages.
- Must hold a valid California driver's license, provide proof of auto insurance, and have access to a personal vehicle for professional use.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster, or an approved medical or religious exemption, are mandatory.
