T is looking for an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Support Staff Professional to help him lead a full, athletic, and adventure-filled life.

Overview

Assist T, a determined 41-year-old man living with cerebral palsy and Dravet Syndrome, in reaching his active lifestyle goals. This hands-on position involves personal care, mobility support, and helping with athletic activities. The role pays $23.00 per hour or DOE and requires the use of your personal vehicle for travel between Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Requirements

• An open heart and mind, with a willingness to learn person-centered care.
• Experience in personal care is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A college education is preferred.
• Able to pass a background check; Live Scan fingerprinting is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• A valid California driver's license, proof of insurance, and a safe driving record.
• A vehicle in safe condition that can transport an adult wheelchair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A working phone with call and text capabilities.
• Willingness to pursue additional training or certifications as needed.
• Must maintain short, clean nails to ensure safe personal care support.
