Foster Home Provider for Rescue Dogs

This is an opportunity for dog enthusiasts to receive compensation for their dedication and time spent caring for a dog.

Overview

Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue urgently requires dependable, long-term foster homes in the Los Angeles region for canines saved from high-risk shelters. We operate entirely through foster care and supply all meals, supplies, and veterinary treatment. Your role is to offer a secure, affectionate temporary residence.

Dogs Needing Foster Homes

• AZALEA – Sweet Terrier Mix: A gentle yet shy terrier resembling a small fox. Requires a patient individual to assist her in overcoming her anxieties. She is friendly with other dogs and humans.
• MONTIE – Sweet Terrier Mix: An 11-year-old, 65-pound chocolate Labrador mix. Loving, faithful, and housebroken. Best suited for a home with another dog; may show slight anxiety when left entirely alone.
• SCOUT – American Bulldog / German Shepherd Mix: A 7-month-old male with a large, affectionate personality. Extremely sociable and enjoys the company of people, other dogs, and playthings.
• AXEL – German Shepherd/Labrador Mix: A lively 5-year-old active and playful dog. He gets along with other dogs but is uneasy around strangers and requires an experienced handler capable of consistent training.
• IRIE – Energetic Jack Russell Mix: A 1-year-old well-behaved female, loving and intelligent. Enjoys playtime and walks. Likely thrives as the sole dog in the household.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain full approval from landlords, housemates, and family to welcome a dog into your home.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 weeks of fostering. (Short-term assistance for a few days to a week is also required.)
• Must be able to attend mandatory adoption events and supply pickups at Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday.
• Must be able to transport the dog to and from veterinary appointments as necessary.
