Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join Desert Industrial Supply, a premier independent wholesale plumbing provider. This position supports day-to-day operations, delivers customer service, and manages client deliveries. Pay Range: $19 - $23 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer deliveries, pickups, and general tasks.
• Handle counter sales, including customer service, phone inquiries, and assisting clients.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips, including fueling and readiness checks.
• Monitor, respond to, and escalate customer and internal emails as needed.
• Manage inventory by organizing, tracking, and restocking using warehouse systems and checklists.
• Load and unload equipment, parts, and tools while adhering to proper safety practices.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sweeping, down stocking, yard cleaning, and material organization.
• Keep the warehouse, loading dock, and counter areas clean, safe, and orderly.
• Comply with all company safety protocols and promptly report any issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.

Requirements

• Valid Class C driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Previous experience in the plumbing industry is preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Range: $19 - $23 per hour, based on experience.
