Overview

KBS is currently seeking Project Crew Members to join our team for facility cleaning and maintenance duties. This position requires frequent travel and involves working on a variety of floor care, cleaning, and minor repair tasks. Work shifts include daytime, nighttime, and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning and maintenance within warehouses or buildings.
• Familiarity with proper floor care methods for different surfaces such as vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, and hardwood.
• Willingness to travel by vehicle to multiple work locations across several states.
• Availability to work during nights, days, and weekends.
• Must hold and keep a valid driver's license.
• Ability to comprehend safety guidelines, instructions, and chemical handling documents primarily written in English.

Summary of Duties

• Maintain hard surface floors through sanitizing, scrubbing, stripping, and finishing.
• Scrub and polish specialty floors like those in gymnasiums.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets and use a carpet extractor for deep cleaning.
• Wash windows and use pressure washers on floors and building exteriors.
• Conduct minor wall repairs as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash; service, clean, and stock restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment.
• Inform managers about necessary major repairs.
• Order supplies and equipment when required.
• Provide backup for other crew members within the assigned territory.
• Potential for extensive driving, often covering a four to five state area. Occasional overnight shifts may be necessary.
