Overview

Journeys, a leading teen retailer with more than 800 locations, is looking for a Co-Manager. This position involves assisting with the management of store staff to meet sales targets and control operational costs. Requirements

• Previous retail management experience is preferred.
• 6 to 12 months of experience in retail sales.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Motivation to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Completion of all training programs required for the Co-Manager role, or equivalent training.
• Availability to work 45 hours per week, including evenings and weekend shifts.
• Capability to climb, reach, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds, as well as stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old (age requirements may differ by state for full-time employment).

Essential Job Functions

• Exceed both store and individual sales goals.
• Help with recruiting, hiring, training, and developing the sales team.
• Offer feedback, coaching, and ensure company policies are followed.
• Oversee all daily store operations and loss prevention activities when the manager is unavailable.
• Communicate store needs effectively and resolve customer concerns.
• Handle bank deposits and understand the Journeys company culture.

Pay and Benefits
