Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate at Cox Communications, you will deliver exceptional customer service while helping customers explore technology, products, and services. This customer-facing sales role involves working evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a targeted total compensation of $57,172 per year ($27.49 per hour), with top performers earning over $74,455 annually.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet sales, retention, and customer experience goals.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative sales abilities.
• Skill in building relationships with a diverse customer base.
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail setting.
• Must be mobile within the store for extended periods to welcome customers and demonstrate products.
• Computer proficiency and a knack for learning new products and services.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds for stock room tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college coursework in sales, business, or management.
• One year of experience in sales, retail, or the service industry.
• Experience selling wireless or mobile products.
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay Range: $18.32 - $27.45 per hour.
• Annual Incentive Target: $17,652.00, with an uncapped commission plan.
• Compensation includes a base rate of $19.00 per hour plus monthly targeted commissions.

Note: Pay varies based on location, experience, and achievement of sales targets. A commission ramp-up period of up to 2 months is provided.
