Overview

Cambria Bicycle Outfitter is looking for an experienced Retail Sales Associate to boost store revenue by offering expert guidance, fitting customers for bicycles, and suggesting appropriate accessories. This position focuses on providing outstanding customer service, overseeing daily store activities, and fostering customer loyalty. This role requires onsite presence at our headquarters in San Luis Obispo. No alternative arrangements are possible.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous work in retail or customer service is preferred. Background in the bicycle industry is advantageous.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with organizational skills, are essential.
• Passion: A sincere enthusiasm for cycling culture and the ability to share that excitement with customers.
• Physical Requirements: Capacity to stand and move for extended durations, and lift bicycles weighing up to 80 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• General familiarity with bicycle repair or a readiness to learn.
