National Transit Database (NTD) Data Manager
Overview: This role is tasked with ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and on-time submission of monthly and annual data to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Duties include overseeing the collection, verification, analysis, and reporting of financial, operational, safety, and asset data in compliance with federal standards. The starting salary range is $70,354 - $78,171.
Requirements
- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in data management, financial reporting, or a comparable accounting-focused position. Experience with federal funding and grant reporting is desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel), database management, and reporting systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capacity to examine data, detect discrepancies, and formulate solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to function as the primary agency contact.
- Organizational Skills: High capability to handle complex data, monitor multiple deadlines, and keep detailed records.
