Overview

ManTech is looking for a dedicated, career-driven Physical Industrial Security Specialist to become part of our team. This role involves delivering physical security, industrial security, and cybersecurity support for collateral, SCI, and SAP systems, following ICD, DODM, and other Department of Defense directives for facilities that host internal networks and guest systems. Additionally, this position provides industrial security assistance to SAR acquisition programs.

Responsibilities

• Support Government security authorities in overseeing industrial security needs for acquisition security programs.
• Guarantee adherence to DODM, ICD, or previous DCID/JAFAN physical security and information assurance requirements, while preserving accreditation documentation.
• Perform preconstruction assessments and offer recommendations to ensure compliance with standards for building, expanding, and modifying facilities.
• Help Information Assurance Managers in applying cybersecurity protocols.
• Create, evaluate, and uphold facility Certification and Accreditation records.
• Aid in enforcing personnel security controls for visitors and un-cleared individuals who need entry into the facility.
• Detect cybersecurity and physical security weaknesses and ensure alignment with ICD/DODM guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an extra 4 years of direct experience instead of a degree.
• Over 6 years of pertinent experience.
• More than 4 years of experience with SCI.
• Must finish ICD-705 training (DSSA or NRO) within 6 months from the start date of employment.
• Must be well-versed in security policies, manuals, and relevant ICDs, JAFANs, DOD Manuals, and other governing policy documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 2 years of SAP-related experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience within a DoD or military/civilian personnel setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Clearance Requirements

• An active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Qualification for access to Special Access Program information.
• Readiness to undergo a polygraph examination.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to stay in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• Occasional movement within the office to reach file cabinets, office machines, and similar items.
• Frequent operation of a computer and other office equipment, like a calculator, copier, and printer.
• Regular communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange precise information in these interactions.
