Security Officer – HOA Patrol (Evening Shift)

Shift: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Swing Shift)

Overview

California Coastal Patrol is seeking a reliable and meticulous Security Officer to serve a residential HOA community in Placentia. This role focuses on ensuring safety, enforcing community regulations—including parking rules—and delivering excellent customer service during the evening shift.

Requirements

• A valid California Guard Card is mandatory (BSIS certification required).
• Prior experience in security is required; experience with HOA communities is preferred.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
• Strong report writing and documentation abilities.
• Capability to understand and implement HOA rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn online parking enforcement systems.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional grooming and demeanor.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with parking enforcement and towing protocols.
• Knowledge of patrol or reporting software systems.
• Previous work in residential or HOA settings.
