Diesel Mechanic

Busy truck repair shop seeking an experienced diesel mechanic with hands-on expertise in heavy-duty trucks. Our daily work involves Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, Paccar, trailers, reefers, and semis. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience
• Familiarity with Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, and Paccar is required
• Experience with the following:
  • Semi trucks
  • Trailers
  • Reefers
  • Box trucks
• Must provide your own tools
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable
• English required (Spanish is acceptable)

Job Information

• Full time
• Monday through Saturday
• Independent shop with steady workload
• Air-conditioned facility
• No shortage of daily work
• Immediate start available

Compensation

• Based on experience level
• Starting at approximately $20 per hour and above
• Higher rates for seasoned mechanics
• Payable by check or cash
• Salary negotiable for the ideal candidate
