Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to join our team immediately. In this role, you will perform repair work on a modern fleet of cargo vans and box trucks. Your efforts will help maintain vehicle safety and dependability, directly contributing to our customers' daily operations. This position pays a competitive hourly rate of USD 33.80 and involves mobile repair assignments. This role requires daily on-site attendance and cannot be performed remotely.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class A, B, or C CDL may be necessary based on location).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical repair and diagnostics for medium or heavy-duty vehicles.
- At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to earn 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year of employment.
- Practical knowledge across multiple ASE disciplines, such as Engine Repair, Drivetrain, Brakes, and Electrical Systems.
- Ability to secure DOT medical certification.
- Must own a complete set of tools suitable for automotive and diesel repair tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency for typing and data entry activities.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and handle physically strenuous work.
- Minimum age of 21 years and legal authorization to work in the United States.
- At ease working both outdoors and in a mechanical workshop setting.
- Prior Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience is highly desirable.
