Maintenance Technician

Overview

Lewis Apartment Communities is looking for a highly experienced Maintenance Technician who is also a skilled and personable professional. This is a residential maintenance position.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess expertise in all areas of general maintenance, including:

• Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on residential apartments, common areas, and facilities.
• Performing inspections to quickly identify and fix maintenance issues.
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems.
• Completing painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs as required.
• Supporting apartment turnovers and making sure units are in excellent condition for new occupants.
• Handling resident maintenance requests in a polite and effective manner.
• Keeping the maintenance shop and equipment clean and organized.
• Working together with the property management team and other maintenance staff.
