Overview

Dryer Vent Wizard is seeking a full-time, route-based field technician in Los Angeles. This is a high-level customer-facing role that includes inspecting, cleaning, repairing, rerouting, and code-compliant installation of dryer vent systems for both residential and commercial customers. This is not a simple cleaning position. The role offers a base hourly wage of $29 to $35, along with a monthly performance bonus, and higher overall earning potential for top performers.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Safe and practical overnight parking for a work van.
• Mechanical ability and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Professional interaction with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent attendance/punctuality.
• Comfort taking responsibility for company tools, materials, and vehicle organization.
• Ability to work independently in occupied homes and businesses, following company procedures without direct supervision.
• Comfort working with ladders and in attics, crawlspaces, and on roofs when necessary.
• Experience in service, installation, repair, appliances, venting, HVAC, or handyman work is beneficial.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct dryer vent inspections, cleaning, repairs, reroutes, and installations.
• Perform dryer lint removal and related component disassembly and reassembly.
• Drive a branded company van to job locations.
• Capture job photos and complete detailed job notes.
• Work independently while adhering to company processes.
