Information Systems Security Officer II

Location: El Segundo, CA area

Overview

ManTech is looking for a proactive, client-focused Information Systems Security Officer II to become part of our team. This role primarily involves supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) and aiding SMC and AFSPC mission areas by delivering routine support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or an additional 4 years of directly relevant experience in place of a degree.
• 3 years of professional experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience with SCI.
• Fulfillment of position and certification criteria specified in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of hiring.
• Completion of training in Joint Security Implementation Guidance (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM).
• Familiarity with security policies, manuals, and relevant ICDs, JAFANs, DOD Manuals, and other guiding documents.
• A current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Qualification for access to Special Access Programs.
• Willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with SAPs is highly desirable.
• Capability to operate in a fast-paced setting and effectively collaborate with numerous DOD, military and civilian personnel, as well as industry partners.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Demonstrates strong originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
• Readiness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), which may be extensive and involve both air and ground transport.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
