Part-Time Developer / Coding Support Needed – Cal Poly Students Encouraged to Apply

Overview: We are Fixxa, a rapidly expanding home services company located in the Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo area. We are developing our own customized platform internally. Think of it as the Uber of Construction, but focused on CRM functions such as scheduling, quoting, invoicing, client management, and a field technician application, all built from scratch. We are seeking a skilled developer for a part-time role with flexible hours to assist in building and enhancing features as we grow.

Technology Stack

• React and TypeScript for the frontend
• Supabase, which uses Postgres, for the backend
• Vercel for deployment
• Tailwind CSS for styling

Your Responsibilities

• Developing new features including dashboards, reporting, and automation tools
• Resolving bugs and optimizing performance
• Integrating with services such as Twilio for SMS, Stripe for payments, and ElevenLabs
• Working on real production code, not hypothetical or trivial projects

Qualifications

• Proficient in React and TypeScript, or highly motivated to learn quickly
• Currently enrolled in Cal Poly's Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related program, with preference for juniors or seniors
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with Supabase or Postgres is a plus
