Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lighting Support and Customer Service Specialist who has at least two years of hands-on technical background in the commercial and architectural lighting sector. This role includes troubleshooting, offering expert product recommendations, and resolving client concerns. The position comes with a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $75,000, along with a full benefits package and the option for remote work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in commercial or architectural lighting is mandatory (5 years or more is highly desirable).
• Extensive understanding of LED lighting (including Static White, Color Tuning, and RGBW) as well as control systems (IoT, Bluetooth Mesh, WiFi, RF, DMX, and others).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong competence in lighting design principles, with the ability to review and interpret lighting plans and specification sheets.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Odoo or Salesforce) and ticketing platforms (like Zendesk).
• Outstanding communication abilities and a strong customer-focused attitude.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage difficult customer interactions with professionalism.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
• Certification as a Lighting Professional (NCQLP) or knowledge of LEED/WELL building standards is an advantage.
