We are currently looking for a seasoned IT Field Technician to become part of our team. This position suits a capable, customer focused IT specialist who enjoys direct client interaction, resolving technical challenges, and working across varied settings.

Overview

This is a customer facing Field Technician role that requires over 5 years of IT support or consulting experience. The ideal applicant will be comfortable working autonomously, communicating effectively with business owners and end users, and managing technical issues from start to finish. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct network evaluations for potential new clients
• Assist with and help organize client IT projects
• Guide clients in ongoing IT planning and technology expansion
• Work with the team and take initiative when needed
• Address client requests made via phone and email
• Deliver both remote and on-site support for client systems and users
• Log, monitor, and manage service tasks in the company CRM or ticketing system
• Identify issues and collect relevant troubleshooting data
• Record solutions and keep precise technical records

Technical Requirements

This position demands solid practical experience with:

• Microsoft Server environments
• Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft platforms or applications
• Apple operating systems
• Network and server hardware, including managed switches and firewalls
• Virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Storage technologies like iSCSI and SANs
• Cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Workspace, and AWS

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of IT support or consulting experience preferred
• Microsoft 365 certification preferred
• A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred
• Apple certification is a plus
• Valid drivers license required
• Reliable transportation required
