Qualifications and Background

My name is Sameer Tyagi, a Former Harvard Teaching Fellow with over 15 years of tutoring experience. My qualifications include:

• 5 years at Harvard University plus 2 years at UC Berkeley.
• Master’s degree from UC Berkeley; studied Molecular Genetics and Stem Cell Biology at Michigan State University and Harvard.
• Consistent success assisting students from elite universities such as Harvard, Stanford, and UC Berkeley.
• Currently coaching high school students in San Francisco and New York for SAT, AP Physics and Olympiad, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus.

I provide thorough one-on-one tutoring and exam preparation for many subjects and educational levels:

• Physics and Chemistry: AP Physics 1 and 2, General Physics, Calculus-Based Physics, Quantum Physics, AP Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, General and Inorganic Chemistry.
• Mathematics: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, SAT Math, AP Calculus AB/BC, Calculus I through III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics.
• Biology: AP Biology, General Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics.
• Test Preparation: SAT, ACT, PSAT, MCAT, GMAT, GRE, and specialized high school admissions tests like SHSAT.

My Approach: Lessons are conducted through Zoom with an iPad and Apple Pencil for real-time handwritten notes. I explain ideas clearly before working through problems of increasing difficulty. Students can interact using the Zoom whiteboard and ask questions instantly.

Fee Structure

85 dollars per hour for High School students.
95 dollars per hour for College students.
